"What is the story about?": The story that served as the basis for this script was written by me back when I was a teenage. I didn't write it "meaningfully." In fact, I invented it on the go, walking somewhere in the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. But I understood perfectly well the feeling that I wanted to put into this story . It's a feeling of endless human loneliness. However, this story is not as gloomy as it may seem at first glance. Unlike the author, who knows that Protagonist's friend will never be able to return to the Protagonist, the Protagonist does not know that and won't be able to find it out because he is terminally ill. And this strange impossible hope of returning is sad and joyful at the same time. It seems to me that my film is about this feeling.

Genre: Drama, fairy tale References: "Det perfekte menneske", "Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligar", "Sacrifice", "Eraser Head" Individual style: Shots of the real, objective world are mixed with pictures from the subconscious of the Protagonist into an obscure mess, which makes it feel how difficult it is to find at least some intelligible, truthful information in this illogical system. The emotions of the main character are off the scale, while he is surrounded by cold noir-detached rooms and objects.

"Synopsis": A young man suffering from a severe mental illness, in which fictional and real, present and past interfere in his mind, is trying to understand or remember what happened to his only friend, who disappeared for an unknown reason.

"The pictorial solution of the film": 1. Monochrome. 2. The image should not be perfect. It's best to use a slightly grainy effect in this story, like the feel of a film camera.

"Protagonist": 1. The main character is a young man of about 25 years old 2. Narration is conducted on behalf of the main character . 3. The viewer cannot rely on any other story, except the one that is told to them by a confused young man who is in a psychiatric clinic and himself has little understanding of where the truth is and where the visions are.

"A friend of the main character": 1. A man of about 27 years old 2. The childhood friend of the main character, by an evil irony of fate, becomes his attending physician in a psychiatric clinic. A friend appears to the main character only in hallucinations and memories, because he himself has been dead for a long time.

"Conflict": 1. The main conflict in the film is internal. The Protagonist is grieving the loss of a childhood friend and is trying to cope with this loss as best he can. We have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in his deeply intimate visions, which are well understood only by him. 3. There is also a social conflict in the film. Part of the system in the film are two orderlies who are cruel and look not like real people, but like part of something big and not quite animate.

"Realistic": Realistic decorations are the decorations of the hospital and the apartment of the Protagonist. Although they look absurd and a little grotesque, they manage to balance on the edge of something quite probable.

They represent a city invented by the Protagoist, an overlap of real and non-existent places in the Protagonist's mind, as well as the so-called "dark room" in which the main character sometimes appears. 2. "Household characteristics": Household items in the film relate, rather than to modernity, but to the era of stagnation in the USSR (1964-1982) • However , it is not necessary to adhere to strict historical authenticity. Generally speaking, the objects appearing in the film can simply be called not too modern, but quite fashionable and expensive for that time. These should be things of the kind that the creative intelligentsia could afford.

"The tempo and rhythm of the film": The rhythm of the film is quite jerky. It is painfully slow, then other frames skip on the screen for just a couple of seconds. Editing is often illogical and wrong from an academic point of view. • Such techniques are necessary in order to unbalance the viewer, to make him feel uncomfortable.

"The sound solution of the film": Noises and rustles play a great role in the film . They fill the silence, thereby emphasizing it. • The main sound in the picture is the sound of rustling vinyl records. The leading melody of the film is played from it.

"Music": The melodies playing in the film should resemble classical music concerts that could have been recorded on a record in the 60s.

"What is the story about?": It seems to me that now, more than ever, people need fairy tales with a good ending. This is a story about a scientist who thinks that the purpose of his new discovery is to move science forward. In fact, this is an attempt to overcome total loneliness. This is a story about parents who are forever haunted by fear for their child. Trying to protect him from the dangers of the outside world, without realizing it, they usually only make it worse.

"Synopsis": Driven by ambition, a scientist creates an artificial human. The experiment is going well and it seems that scientific fame is now just around the corner. But the protagonist decides to hide the boy from a possible creepy future in scientific laboratories, starting to hide from the child the existence of the world outside the apartment.
